# Terms of Service

## Using Uzume

These terms cover Uzume, a Discord bot operated by Lemonical. By using Uzume, you agree to these terms. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement in your country and follow [Discord's Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms) and [Community Guidelines](https://discord.com/guidelines).

Server owners decide where Uzume is available. Using the bot does not override a server's rules or Discord permissions.

## Acceptable use

Do not use Uzume to harass people, distribute unlawful material, expose someone else's private information, spam or bypass access controls. Do not try to disrupt the bot or interfere with other users.

Only submit content you have the right to use and share. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

## Your content

You keep your rights to the content you submit. You allow Lemonical to process, store and display that content as needed to provide the features you use. The [Privacy Policy](/uzume/privacy-policy.md) describes how data is handled.

Saved quotes can appear in community commands in other servers. Dream submissions are private unless you choose to publish them to your server's board. Bot replies are visible wherever they are posted.

## AI chat

Uzume uses OpenAI to generate chat replies. Your prompt and recent conversation context are sent to OpenAI. In a thread Uzume has joined, new human messages can become chat prompts without a mention.

Replies may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Check information before relying on it. An AI reply is not a statement from Lemonical or professional advice.

## Availability and access

Features may change or become unavailable. Lemonical may restrict access to address abuse, security issues or violations of these terms. No uninterrupted service or accuracy guarantee is made.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

## Data and changes to these terms

Stopping use or removing Uzume from a server does not automatically erase stored data. See the [Privacy Policy](/uzume/privacy-policy.md#retention-and-deletion) for current controls and how to request deletion.

Material changes to these terms will be identified on this page with an updated effective date.
