# Commands

Type `/` in Discord to browse Uzume's commands.

## Quotes

Saved quotes are part of a shared archive. They can appear through community quote commands in other servers.

| Command              | What it does                                                                               |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `/quote add`         | Save a quote with up to five tags.                                                         |
| `/quote get`         | Show one of your quotes. Omit the number or use 0 for a random quote from your collection. |
| `/quote list`        | Browse your saved quotes with ten per page.                                                |
| `/quote search`      | Search your quotes by text or tag.                                                         |
| `/quote edit`        | Change the text of one of your quotes.                                                     |
| `/quote remove`      | Remove one of your quotes after confirmation.                                              |
| `/quote clear`       | Remove all your quotes after confirmation.                                                 |
| `/quote undo`        | Restore your latest removed quote within 24 hours.                                         |
| `/quote favorite`    | Add or remove one of your quotes from your favorites.                                      |
| `/quote favorites`   | Browse your favorite quotes.                                                               |
| `/quote random`      | Show a random community quote with voting buttons.                                         |
| `/quote leaderboard` | Browse rated community quotes. Use `rank` to show a full quote.                            |

Quote numbers come from `/quote list`. Quotes can contain up to 1,900 characters.

Search and favorites support a `page` option with up to 25 previews per page.

Removing a quote hides it from the archive. The 24-hour recovery window is not a promise that its database record is permanently erased after that time.

### Message actions

Right-click or long-press a message and open **Apps**:

* **Save as Quote** saves the selected message.
* **Amplify with Megaphone** saves it and posts the quote with its author and source link.

Only save or share someone else's content when you have permission.

### Alternate quote commands

| Command                   | What it does                                       |
| ------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| `/histoire remember`      | Save a quote.                                      |
| `/histoire recall`        | Search your quotes by text or tag.                 |
| `/histoire forget`        | Remove one of your quotes.                         |
| `/histoire recover`       | Restore your latest removed quote within 24 hours. |
| `/zero-dimension recover` | Restore your latest removed quote within 24 hours. |

These commands use the same quote archive.

## Kudos

| Command                     | What it does                                       |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| `/share-energy give`        | Give someone kudos with a reason.                  |
| `/share-energy status`      | Show your kudos given and received in this server. |
| `/share-energy leaderboard` | Show this server's top recipients.                 |
| `/share-crystal status`     | Show your kudos summary.                           |

You can give kudos to each recipient once per UTC day. You cannot give kudos to yourself. Reasons must contain 1–500 characters.

## Dreams

| Command         | What it does                                                                |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `/dream prompt` | Show today's writing prompt.                                                |
| `/dream submit` | Save a dream. Set `publish` to true to add it to the server's public board. |
| `/dream board`  | Show this server's public dreams.                                           |
| `/dream forget` | Delete your latest dream submission in this server.                         |

Dreams are private by default and can contain up to 1,900 characters.

## Bot-message cleanup

`/prune bot` scans up to 100 recent channel messages and asks you to confirm which Uzume messages will be deleted.

Both you and Uzume need **Manage Messages** in that channel. Messages at least 14 days old are excluded. Human messages and messages from other bots are preserved.

This command removes Discord messages. It does not erase stored chat history.

## Status

| `/dimension status`           | Show connection, uptime and database status. |
| `/dimension dynamic-capacity` | Show connection, latency and uptime.         |
| `/dynamic-capacity`           | Show connection, latency and uptime.         |

## Chat
